Machin’s Sawmill is a boutique operation that specialises in identifying and supplying high quality hardwood to meet a wide variety of customer requirements – from furniture to large-scale restoration and architectural homes. Logs are sourced from both private landholders and local state forests, and selected for maximum value before being graded and sorted into species.

From first contact, we’ll ascertain the details of your project and use our experience and knowledge to select timber that meets your needs. After the logs are chosen, they will be milled to match your exact requirements before being air-dried and sent to our on-site solar kilns to be finished.

At Machin’s Sawmill, we also specialise in supplying premium kiln-dried flooring and decking, overseeing the entire process at our Wingham site – from log selection to milling and drying.
